If you’re a lover of Eichler homes, then I have a treat to share with you! This weekend is the San Mateo Highlands Eichler Home Tour. This fundraising event for the Highlands Elementary School is an incredible opportunity to support a local school while getting exclusive access to 10 amazing Eichler homes.
You better act fast: the tickets are limited to just 200. The two-day pass includes a tour booklet and access to all the homes and events both days of the tour. You also have an opportunity to pick up a limited edition print commemorating the tour.
Not only will you see some amazing homes, but you’ll also get to gaze on the incredible artistic talents of some of the Bay Area’s best artists. A few highlights will be Michael Murphy and his retro-fab posters (seen below) and Atomic Mobile by Debra Ann (also seen below). The event is sponsored by one of our favorite architects firms, Klopf Architecture. I’m not sure if any of the homes that they’ve completed are on the tour, but it’s a good chance for you to see why Eichler homes are coveted by modern design lovers everywhere. Get you tickets here.
