As a distributor, ClimatePro has established itself as a critical supplier for the sign industry and a licensed contractor providing security solutions. Because of this, we are exempt from State and Local government regulations that restricted commercial and personal activities in response to the COVID‐19 pandemic.
ClimatePro is responsible for securing windows and glass doors in critical infrastructures such as government buildings, essential businesses, and residences. We believe that we should be allowed to continue to perform this work, which is approved as an essential activity under the current definitions provided by the State of California and the US Department of State.
We also support the local essential business with services including privacy solutions, marketing, and signage. This provides invaluable environmental communications necessary for the safe and effective operations of essential business and critically important business sectors including:
- Healthcare Operations – Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Research and Pharmacies
- Food Distribution – Grocery Stores, Farmers, Super Markets, Food Banks, and delivery and take out through restaurants
- Transportation – Gas Station and Automotive Repair
- Construction – construction and residential construction
- Banks – and other financial institutions
In addition, our sister company VisualPro provides these same critical functions for the industries listed above in support of essential businesses providing essential services to local communities.
On March 19, 2020, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-33-20 directing all residents immediately to heed current State public health directives to stay home. Exemptions, where given for businesses that are needed to maintain continuity of operations of essential critical infrastructure sectors and additional sectors as the State Public Health Officer, may designate as critical to protecting health and well-being of all Californians. Since we fall under the exemption orders per this order, we need no further authorization. ClimatePro will continue to assist our community and business partners during these challenging times.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Dobbins
